I have a 01 Cl-S and I just bought an 05 Magnum (Black) and I wanted to tint the taillights on both of them but I dont know if I just use regular window tint or do I have to buy some special tint? If anyone knows where I can get a kit let me know. Thanks

 

Let an autobody shop do it if you don't know what your doing.

If your adventurous though, sand down the lights with a very high grit paper like 2000. THen spray a light black spray tint. Then I would do a coat of clear to protect it.

they sell a spray called "nightshades" works 100% and you can make it as dark as you want

 

where can you find that stuff?

 

I made this DIY a while ago.... Many people on 7thgencivic.com have followed it and came out with good results so I'll pass it on. I've had my lights on for a long ass time now and now problems with the tint job.... just a little trouble with the cops once.

I used the nite shades spray...I think it worked really well....and it was less then $10.
