I paid cash for mine back in 2000.

It's going to be awhile before I can consider replacing it.

Bought it used (1yr old) in Jul 2001 for $27,200. Paid for by Aug 02 (partially by selling my '97 2.2 CL for 13k)

$22k, but I just bought mine June of 03 and I only put $1k down. Why put down a bunch of $$ when I got 1.9% financing Starting this January I plan on paying 50-75% more each month to get it paid off faster.

Well, I bought mine used from the dealer for $27,235 plus taxes (14.5%) which ended up around $31,000. Parents paid for it and now I am paying $600 a month to pay it off, I've only had it for like 6 months. Mines and 03 CLP though with 20k on it.
BTW its in canadian dollars and in kilometers

Paid 1/2 down, paid the rest off last year. I've been taking the 300 a month I would be useing on car payments and putting it in my "next car fund". I probably should just keep the CLS forever and put the $300 a month toward principle on the mortgage...

Just under $5k left on the loan. I'll have it paid off in less than a year.
