Just wondering what the audience is here...I was watching the fast and the furious last night..and I was like....I wonder if some guys on my board are like this....boy racers and such...just wondering...I personally like to gun the car every now and then and usually cruise around 80 or 90 but I would never race that fast...I have only raced 0-60 and not in years...I am happy to have a speedy luxurious coupe...

I don't race, but I also don't mind a little competition now and then.

I hope nobody drives their CL or TL like F&F. I said it before, there are cheaper and much faster cars if you're really gonna race.

Rule#1: Just stay away from the “outside” lane of a two-lane twisting road with the more insane of the two on the inside of the apex when they spin out and cause both cars to hit that school bus with the little kiddies coming home from gymnastics practice…

Rule#2: Let the more insane person lead the way and find that patch of rubber, coolant, water, and rocks, so you can tell that the road is no good by the amount of air under their car as they fly off some cliff...

i've gone to a couple of street races, but i've never raced my CL-S... just watched

my friend PimpinWhiteCL-S raced his car a couple of times and have had his share of wins and losses... losing to a Turbo-ed Neon (a really really big turbo in there), a Mustang GT i believe, and even a TL-P (haha that was embarassing for him)!!! but of course he spanked some civics with turbos, etc etc... too much to mention

 

We make fun of busting civics,...

However, go to your nearest drag strip and watch for yourself some NA civic doing a 15.5-16s passes...

Your CLS will do 15.x sec and the guy next to you in his NA civic is just 0.5s slower.... That is couple cars lengths only at 90 MPH.....

So do not say I crashed a Turboed civic... that is a bit far fecthed.

I do drag racing on the drag strip only... sav once I raceda 3.0 CL at stop light for up to 40MPH and with only partial throtle... Not a race... just to say high to fellow CL 3.0 owner...

Tell me about the "advantages" of the Braided Steel Lines on your Tranny Cooler. This just a Durability Issue ?

1) how do you like ur comptech brake pads and comptech SS brake lines?
2) why you can dyoned at only 223HP with all those mods?
3) How are you able to get 215lbft of torque? The highest I saw was around 200lbft up from stock at 175lbft.
