Homemade Mesh Grill?

I'm not sure how else to exaplain it? I've seen many guys who use some type of gutter guard from Home Depot to make mash behind their grills. Orginally I saw it on a Maxima site (When I had almost ordered a maxima). They would cut it out and zip-tie it behind the grills. Actually it looked very nice if you ask me. I was toying with that idea for my 2k3 CLS.

Is this somthing talked about on the list? I did not see anything under the search. If so, did anyone post directions?

Thanks,
Robert

Like DaveDiego said, you gotta take off that front bumper. I saw someone did it on this site once, but I have never seen one up close, I would like one though once you figure it out.

Ok guys, I'm going to try out the mesh grill tonight. I don't have a solder gun so I'm just going to use the regular stuff...

There should be a place on this website for to-do's and what not. Maybe there is and I missed it.

I'm not sure if you guys caught the last issue of SuperStreet, but there was a nice Skyline with almost neon blue turn signals in the front. They looked really nice. I was thinking about doing that too. Not sure how that would would yet, but I'll check it out tonight.

Thanks again...

Look cool. I'm going to do just the top tonight for starters... It's to cold here in MN for working outside. Are the piaa interior bulbs worth it?

Ya I like them a lot and a lot of people notice it when they get in the car. Don't pay more than $13.00 a set. I think i got my for about that much with shipping may be a little less. boughy 4 sets for doors, indivdual lights, Fogs and trunk and lic. light, and one set for the over head. comes with 2 only need one.

Oh by the way i didn't have to take off the bumper. did most of the work inside. just cut the mesh and it fit right in.
