Also, which high beam bulb does not show the blue. I am tired of being ticketed for my blue hue..

Hey Eggplant, where do you get ticketed for your blue hue. Being that we live in the same area I wanna know where to watch out.

MJMeucci...

have not yet been ticketed but just do not want the hassles..

Got warned at SeaTac by an Officer that had nothing better to do. He stopped me and asked if I was a cop. Then said only cops were allowed blue looking lights.

That is why I want to change the bulbs to something that does not show blue.

Anyone know the brand/number?

Instead of Silvervisions, I use "silver" reflective coated amber bulbes made by APC, called the APC Titans. They are less than $8 a bulb from some online stores, and they work just as well as the ones by Sylvania. Also, they shine amber just as bright as OEM, but without the yellow "yoke" in the middle of the turn signal. Hope this helps-

I removed the non-DOT approved lamps from my cars. I could not pass tech inspection.

Next time, I will get DOT-approved bulbls and keep the proof in the glovebox.
