I had my headlights cleared this weekend and was told my high beam bulbs are missing the covers on the back. Now I know the HID's on the 01 CL's have a cover on the back that pretty much just twists on but I could have sworn there was no such cover of any kind for the high beams. As far as I remember, we just take out the 2 screws, disconnect the harness from the back of the bulb, and then just remove the bulb. I checked the manual and there is no mention of removing any cover either to change the high beam bulbs. Can someone please let me know for sure? Thanks!

 

the high beams dont have a cover, the bulbs are basically the covers, u have to put the bulbs in the slot and turn it so it will lock in place

Cool, thanks guys! That's exactly what I thought but wanted to be sure before I go around trying to find these so called covers.
