Hi CL gurus..
I recently got an Acura CL 2001 Type S and I think I made a great choice. But the passenger side headlight low beam is not working. First guess is that the bulb is not good. Dealer is asking $190 for each bulb replacement. If I have the bulb, they still ask for $140 for the installation. I ordered the Xenon bulbs from Ebay but need some instructions/advice on its installation. Has anyone done that yet? can I get a walk through? I will really appreciate any help.

Getting the helms manual (where those scan are from) is probably a good idea if you're going to do a lot of work on the car yourself. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178375

Oh, you might want to switch the old bulbs from side to side to make sure it's just the bulb and not the ballast that went out.

 

Thanks for the Help.. I successfully installed new low beam bulbs and saved my self at least $200 for installation.
I used 10000K and they look awesome..
But my road lamps dont turn on.. does any one know what kind of bulbs they use? and is there a manual to change its bulbs?

 

Finally get to do this! SO Sorry it comes at your expense though...in the upper right, there's a "SEARCH" Feature, do that before posting.



How'd I do guys? Was I too rough? I felt like I went easy on him...

you need a DRL fuse. check the fuse to make sure its not blown
