the linkage thats from the gas pedal to the engine...in the engine bay theres that linkage area dont know the proper name its like the area you check to see if the acctuator is operating you can rotate it and the engine rpm goes up ...well there are two cables side by side when i pull on either cable the rpm goes up what do these both do?
reason i ask is my car feels under power i wonder if im gettin full WOT and there is some slack in the first cable

If you're explaining what I think you are, then one of them is for the cruise control.

If you'd like to make sure that you are getting WOT when the pedal is to the floor, you can easily check by using a voltmeter at the throttle position sensor.

I pretty sure that one of them is the throttle cable from the gas peddle and the other is a gear kick down for the transmission to automatically shift the gear down when your floor the car.
