Headroom/Curbrash Questions PLEASE respond

I am considering a CL-S purchase. Car will be used primarily by my wife. I am 6'2". I sat in the car in the dealer and it was a little tight. Are there any taller folks out there who have this car, if so do you find it comfortable. Also is the curb rash on rims a big problem. I am sure she will hit the curb even if I tell her to stay a foot away from the curb.

Thanks,
Ray

curb rash is DEFINITELY a problem b/c the rim jets out a little from the tire, just enough to b tragic when u scratch it...the automatic lowering side rearview mirror in Reverse helps train u to stay far enough from the curb...as for the height issue, u can try maneuvering the seat so that u are able to sit lower to free up some head room...don't know of anything else short of bending over unfortunately...sorry bout that.

Yah, there is no question you will be
scraping your rims. That's one of the (notably few) big minuses to this car.

Just use a lot of zaino on your car, nobody's eyesight will get as low as your rims.

Ray,

I'm 6'1" and I don't find the car that confining. Of course I was also driving a little Nissan compact car before. The seats are highly adjustable and I was able to get them to a point where I have tons of leg room and tons of "body" room. The only problem I have is that I sometimes wack my knees on the steering wheel when I get in. Thats because I never raise when I get out...heh just too lazy.

I'm 6'2" with a 32" inseam, so my upper body is very tall. I slouch a bit when I sit, so I fit fine. But if i correct my posture, if can feel my hair brushing the roof.

I'm 6 ft. 2 and fit pretty well. When i first sat in it i was concerned but i've found the right position and i'm fine.
Get Toyo tires, they have a rim protector and stick like glue.

I'm considering buying a CL-type S which I test drove on several occassions in the past few weeks. I am 6'4", and was surprised with the amount of room. Of course, I had the seat lowered..

I am also surprised to read about the "curb rash" problem with the rims.
