Header install pics

too many to show here, so check out Fotki...plus a couple pics of Jens for those who still haven't seen the legend at work

also, check out the Detailing Dynamics section on the G35 Coupe getting prepped and film...the owner is around 25, a really nice guy...we chatted a while...when he brought the car outside, i was surprised how close his Laser Red is to SMR...his tint is nice (20%), and his body-side moldings aren't the eyesoar many u see are

enjoy!

Looks good man. How’s she run ???

Do you have your wheels and everything on now?

nice, does the heat shield have to be removed after the installation of new headers.

No place to put it back onto...LOL.. it bolted into the old exhaust manifold so it is not needed for the stainless headers

she runs OK...the fact that my actuator is busted doesn't help much, but i can still feel it in 4th and 5th...this may b the reason i ran so shitty at E-town last month

wheels go on in Spring after more than a few people urged me to wait

as for the door panel: had an interesting rattle prob...the rubber lead in the door has a metal frame bar that was not securely fastoned to a mounting bracket...side note - remember when i posted some time ago bout if i got an '03, i'd swap out of the aluminum trim on center consol and door pieces and use the old fake wood and leather door inserts?? well if u look at the pic of the door panel all by itself and expand the pic "Get Original Uploaded Photo," u'll notice some spots r bolted, while others r like molded together...in short, u would have to physically replace the ENTIRE door panel in order to do what i was thinking of

yes i am crazy

and no, i don't think the aluminum is nicer...i think it makes the cabin "colder"...the fake wood at least gave a little bit "warmer," classier feel...if u notice, i like cars with sporty skins while having a sporty, classy interior...S4 is a perfect ex...i'd rather have the wood than brushed aluminum or titanium accents...and the leather door inserts on the '03's i don't like either...i think the ruffled leather inserts give a nice luxury touch...just my taste, that's all

Jens took the fan out...reason being less clutter and easier access to the front pipes
