Had my car dynoed today...not really happy.

Okay, it was like 85-95 degrees in this garage, fan blowing on front of car. Car dynoed at its best and it was sitting for a few hours, 197hp and 182.9TQ. I was expecting over 200. For a car rated at 260hp and it only hits this! My 2001 222hp Maxima did 184hp stock, and 193TQ!!!!! Give me a break!

What do you guys think on this?

2500 miles, all stock.

You need headers and an intake

I think it sucks our car loses so much, but that's what you get when you have an auto tranny. :-\

your max had a manual tranny right? unforunately there's quite a bit of parasitic loss through our drivetrain.

mine dyno'd at 198.8hp and 182.6 bone stock.

how much power are the auto maxs putting down?

Yea it was a 5spd Maxima. The 2k2 autos I just found out are dynoing 195hp stock. So I guess we aren't that bad.

Those aren't bad numbers for ur CL-S. I rembmr one member had under 190 fwhp. I have an AV6 accord and by next spring, I plan to dyno at 200hp at the wheels w/o any f-i or nitrous

I know that you loose atleast 20% horsepower by the time you get it from the engine to the tires

Your car is still fairly new...You'd do better in about 5k-10k miles.
