Yo man, looks good. So you finally decided to go the H&R route? What happened with Eibach idea? Can you give feedback on the ride quliaty, camber, price for springs and install.

hey thanks ...i was never considering eibach's but i was thinking of using KONI's to lower or had given some thought to comp's but didnt like the front rake i wanted subptle, something that didnt look lowered.im happy...i had to do alittle custom work to the rears since for some reason they wanna go 1.5 on our car what i did was installed the rear springs 180' away from the step in the lower perch .at fist they were still 1.5 but today i remeasured and looks like 1.1 maybe 1.2 which is perfect the fronts are 1.0...no allignment yet want things to settle first...thanks again...oh yea 175 installed, the springs were 200 and the ride is great...i dont know how to describe it but more confidence inspiring certainly not harsh i think just firmer when you drive it more aggressively

typeR, the car looks sweet. i'm also looking for springs but can't decide which brand. those h&r's give a very subtle drop which is what i'm looking for. don't like the raked look either.

I am looking for a subtle drop as well..my only concern is the fact that they drop the back more. Are the springs made for the cl-s or are they for something else but just fit our cars?

You rotated the springs so that they wouldn't lower it too much. Wouldn't they start to rotate as you hit bumps and as they try to settle in a more natural position? I have the H&R and the back dropped more than I wished as well. If this worked for you and it does not rotate, I might give it a try.

Did you have any space in between the strut and springs in the rear? Because when I was installing my springs I had some play in the springs. I tightened it as much as I could but I still had play. Intresting.

how do you figure? he wanted stiffer springs that would decrease body roll but yet not make the car to low or look to low. makes perfect sense to me

i have the 1.75" H&R's. they were made for the accord, but it fits the same. the drop is a li'l lower than what it would be for the accord tho since the CL is heavier.
