Got the rims.... whatchu think?

I dunno... they still have to grow on me. They looked better on discount tires' website. I'm getting mixed reviews and I think the opal is a little too dark... i love the style of the wheel tho, which is the main reason why i opted to go with em. they look dark on certain angles and they look polished if u look at them straight on. I'm getting alignment done at PAA on friday (thanks Jens). what u guys think?

had to throw Lucky in there. it was cloudy out in dirty jerz today so the pics a kinda dark (i have a shitty digicam too)

I like!

By the way, I've been thinking about getting new rims, too. Any truth to what someone told me--that trade-in or resale on a car is alot lower when it has aftermarket rims/wheels?

You know i like them...whan I first got them I felt like they were too dark also...however when the compliments started rolling in like crazy...they grew on me big time. I fucking love them now. Also wax them often...they will get lighter. Also the best part about these rims....THEY NEVER LOOK DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice looking rims. maybe it's because of the comptech drop, or perhaps just the angles in the picture, but it just looks as though the rims, even with 45 offset, aren't flush with the wheel well. it seems as though they stick slightly outward of the fenders.

anyone else, or is it just me? either way, i'm sticking with 48's or higher.

like we photo chopped em?? maybe, the resolution on my pics looks distorted cuz i was only using a 2 megapixel camera? the rims do look totally better in person when u see the light refract off em.

its weird... i actually get rubbing on the wheel well (thought only people w 19's rubbed), only in reverse tho. i think my CT drop is way settled. i think i got em installed at 17k miles, thats why.

48's or higher will stick out further than 45's....hence your car will look like it was squashed from the top and now ur wheels stick out too much....besides they might rub on the fender liner when turning...

48's or higher compared to rims w/ 45 offset or lower will do the exact opposite of what you are describing. if anything, you may have to worry about your tires and clearance with the struts.
