hey, yeah I understand the wiring is a pain. I have the trunk all done, and the front harness is finished I just need to take apart the trim in the middle and take the radio out and the instrument cluster trim. Then install the navigation display and should be about done.

There still could have been a sub. the phone jack could have been a remote to the sub to control volume and the knob next to your cruise control switch may be the knob. my infinity sub uses a wired sub remote that connect by a phone jack type of plug. stay optimistic about the lojack.
i'll bet money it was a sub. congrats on your buy. Never bought a car like this , but its good it worked out for you.
