Unhappy Goodbye CL-S

She's gone. I traded in my 03 CL-S w/ 77k miles yesterday. It was fun while it lasted, but needed to get something with 4 doors for the new wifey and possible upcoming kid(s). Didn't feel at all bad yesterday, but feeling a tinge of sadness today.

We picked up a new 06 G35 sedan. They were blowing them out for quite a bit under invoice because of the new '07s, so it was hard to pass on the deal. Took about 4 hours of negotiating the trade in value of the CL though...

Despite the newfound lack of Acura vehicles in my household, you guys won't be rid of me so easily. I'll still be around here. AZ is filled with so many kind and knowledgeable people, it'll be hard to leave.

Happy holidays, everyone!

Good luck w/ the G35. Hopefully you'll have a run in with a CL-S and have to post a thread in street encounters about getting by the Acura! J/K, good luck!

Yeah, I dunno what it is about the NBP exodus, guess the planets must have all aligned or something.

Ravi, the G was 7k off of the sticker msrp--ended up under 30k.

Viscous, it's always tough to let go of a coupe and step into a sedan, but with kids in your future, it's for the best...

Yeh. But if there is a decent chance to get into a NEW G35 as opposed to my used I35, I'll give it a shot.

By the way, I saw a good listing for a 6 speed and I considered that too.

If you can find a new base G35 w/o any options, I think you could probably wing it for around 26k, but it would take a bit of haggling.

I originally was looking at one of their 06 lease returns (loaner?) w/ 17k miles, and that was going for 24k, but that one in particular wasn't in such great shape. You might want to look for a better one of those if you like the rwd thing over the i35. The nice part is that it's still under factory warranty up to 4 yrs 60k, so that should help.

I may look into it, but I think it will be way too much. I was looking at some of the lease returns when I ended up buying the I35. But they were too much.

I'm in the same boat...my car goes up for sale as soon as I get my tax return in favor of something with 4 doors to accomodate my new son. My CL served me well, and I'm sure it'll serve its new owner well too.
