Fun with the PANIC button

So I stopped at the grocery store for some odds & ends yesterday after work and parked in my normal spot which is WAAAAY out by the road about 100FT from the entrance.

After shopping, I’m standing in line waiting to check out.
I look through the front glass of the store to spy my baby and see two 8 or 9 yr old kids screwing around near the car and they were a little too close for comfort.

So now I have one eye on the 125-year old “express” lane clerk wondering if she could go any slower and the other out the window at the two kids.
When I see one kid put his hand on the hood so he could lean over and get a closer look at the wheels that was enough for me.
I thought I would have some fun.

I fished out my remote, held it up as high as I could and held the red button in.
I couldn’t hear the horn, but when the two kids took off like a shot I knew it had worked.

Awesome range those suckers have isn’t it.

I try not to ever use the panic button cause it flashes the xenons. Supposedly that's not good for them because they don't get to warm up. What do you guys think, does this really affect their life that much?

K'now if you put the remote up to the bottom of your chin, hold your arm up in the air, and push the button, it will go even FURTHER.

I know, I know, sounds goofy. Okay, it is goofy.

BUT IT WORKS!

Laugh all you want, but flatter me and try it one day!

I have done that before...well not the arm thing but it does make it go further if you put it up to your chin.

Did you leave the perishables in the trunk and wash and blow dry your car the second you got home to avoid contaminating the last coat of Zaino?:P

I just checked it under the electron microscope I have out in the garage.
No permanent damage, but I put a quick TWO coats of Z-Stuff over the area where the LITTLE BASTARD touched.

YES….I’ve done “The chin thing” and it does extend the range a bit further.
I didn’t try the extended hand trick though.

One time, I went into the Bank and my lazy ass brother-in-law stayed in the car...

So, I pushed the 'panic' button from the door of the Bank, just to see him squirm. My wife (now my ex) was laughing herself silly. It was pretty funny!!

I had a similar experience. I was at the mall, i parked close also cause i was only going in to pick up my boy cause we were gonna have lunch. So we come out and some dude is staring at my rims like crazy. This dude is literally on his knees staring, like a foot away. I was like WTF is this, so i hit the panic button. The guy jumps backwards, it was hilarious. So as i get closer he says he has the same type of car and that he liked my rims. Needless to say he had a TL. It was the funniest thing ever, i scared the shit out of this dude.
