fuel cutoff or what

today i was on the freeway getting on the on ramp pushing close to redline but, not close like around 6300 rpms on second gear and all of a sudden the power cut . i was thinking that i hit the revlimiter but i know i didnt go that high to hit it. could i be that the fuel was cut off i some form.

if you oil level is low you will get fuel cut when vtec is engaged...and being on a sweeper makes it worse moves the oil to one side of the pan...
