Are both tickets from State Troopers? MTA, County?

Front plates are good for laser. I saw 2 more traps this weekend. Same one on Rt. 100, another on 895.

Both tickets were from State Troopers sitting in the EXACT same place... right after the 95/895 merge in the opening before the median.

Here in SoCal - you can 'get away' from that ticket if you put the plate back on and bring it to DMV or city ticket office for confirmation. No idea how many times you can do that though ... A front plate is not 'just' a plate... it is a 'scratch protector' from someone 'gently' backing into you... Think of cops/metermaids, etc - they are 'human' too, so we must trick them 'psychologically' sometimes ... Next time you see some 'bs' lettering in the rectangular box in some shop on some tin-can metal piece - GET IT... I fit it in mine... actually both vehicles... and yes got ticketed twice.. but it is still worth it.. since a camera ticket here is more then $300 nowdays... Having some plate is better then none. Also.. of the amount of cars they stop - I was thinking as long as you had 'something' there resembling a license plate... - you are lessening your chances, although not completely eliminating ... $.03.

IMHO, the whole point of removing the front plate is because it looks like ass on the car. It messes up the entire flow of the car on the CL/TL not to mention the front plate bracket scratches the hell out of the front bumper.

It's not entirely her fault... but I do wish she had waited for the deposit or at least inquired to it's whereabouts. I would have thought a week was more than enough for it to go from MD to FL, but apparently not. In her defense, she wanted to sell it ASAP and when a week went by from the time I sent out the check and she hadn't received it, she had a local guy that must have had the cash ready and that's how it went down. Ah well.

As for the front plate, I've temporarily attached it using zip ties to my lower mesh grille. It doesn't look great, but still better than the plate holder which completely ruins the lines for how the front angle of the car looks. I couldn't flip the plate holder upside down because the aftermarket lower grille is blocking the screw holes now. Maybe I'll post a pic later.
