my friends older brother drives a 01 Celica GTS stick shift mods intake and exhaust and full stereo system 2 12's the whole deal. Well he starts talking to me about my car and calls me out to race, i kinda ignored it cause i think i will get spanked but he kept pushin me into doing it i never did. His friend 01 Eclipse GT sportronic driver also calls me out to race i ignore both of there calls to race. reason being my friend just got his GSR impounded for racing kinda scared me they proceeded to pick on me blah blah "ur pussy" blah blah they even wanted to wager some money 20 bucks says he will kick my ass from a 30 roll...do you guys think i have any chance against a GT eclipse or a GTS celica from a roll?


oh and from a complete stop when ever i race i power brake and hold it at about 2k and smash the gas off the line does every one else do this? i keep it in D4

 

i think you can take the Eclipse but prob past 90 tho. Who cares if you lose. Take one for ACL. And if they keep talkin shit, i'll come help ya out. i only have I/H but I throw some pretty good uppercuts and body shots! hahahah!

The Eclipse GT you should be able to take, but the celica gts is lighter and I would say you would lose to him but hey 1-1 isnt bad.

 

You will lose to the Celica. Its pretty much as fast as an RSX-S and you only have the 3.0 CL w/200HP. The Eclipse runs high 15's - low 16's which is what your stock 3.0 CL runs. If I were you I would run that eclipse and go from a roll. Shut that fool up especially if he is talking crap. Let the GTS guy run TYPE S BOI! He will be in for a suprise!

i saw those 2 guy again today picking up my friend the guy with the GT sportronic said "so wats up you down to run your shit ?" i thought for a second and said yea 20 bucks right? Then i asked my friends brother if he wanted to run also he was all "asshole cockyish" and said i backed out last night and he doesnt even wanna waste gas racing me he will smoke me so bad, then i ask him if he wants to run my friends del sol "actually my cousins Del Sl" a Del Sol same deal 20 bucks he said the eclipse will burn you and i will kill this POS Del Sol, well a whole bunch of us are gonna meet up tonight and run from rolls and dead stops.
The Del Sol isnt a POS my Cousin had swaped in a B16 that is boosted FMAX turbo kit running 8 PSI with a boost controller capable of running 12-13 PSI safely
im not so nervous as to race and lose money but to race and get beat and have them talk shit, Im hoping that i kick the shit outta the Eclipse cause the GTS is already dead against the Del Sol lets see how big they talk when everones around tonight.

i just got back very good night one of the best i'v had... WHEEW we meet at the Jack in the box on Capitol the Celica checks out my cousins Del Sol and refuses to race "not fair hes got turbo" then my cousin calls him pussy blah blah "same shit he gave me a few nights back" well we all turn out and cruise on Monterey Road a complete straight for mile we hold the 30 roll "speed limit is 50" my friend in his accord behind us Honks 3 times we gun it first race 30-110 he jumped on me first about half a car its basically the same all the way up to about 80 and i start pulling and beat him by 110 by about 3/4th of a car "hes at my rear fender" shut it down, we pull up next to the stop light he wants to run complete stop green light he burns out i catch right away and take the lead hes about 1-1/2 a car the whole time to 100 we meet in a parking lot hes all nice now saying yea dude we knew your car was fast. and i say then you dont know what a fast car is man, my CL does 16's to Mid 15's i dont know if thats fast to you but it certainly isnt fast to me. blah blah blah blah we all decide to run my cousin he murders everyone and before the night was over i pull up to the eclipse and tell him "hey wheres my 20 bucks?" and he smiles and kinda laughs "dude i was just jokeing" then i kinda get serious and go" i wasnt joking i want my 20 bucks" he tells me he will pay me the next time i see him.... well i dropp the CL off at home and go with my cousin cruise up and down Capitol and Monterey for some fun beat several swap civics,5.0's,and a Lancer Evo from a roll. right before we call it a night we see a 5.0 reving at a light he lowers down his window old guy 40-50 years old you kids wanna throw that little toy against my stang? my cousin already cocky from all the wins tonight says "sure why not" we sit for a while waiting on the red we rev BOV and everything the old guy says Turbo? my cousin smiles and says yup, then the old guy Purged his Nitrous and our Jaws straight dropp to the floor he looked at us and said NITROUS i could see my cousin start to get nervous green and the mustang completely blew us away great wasy to end the night... imma sleep now guys
