Fawkin' E-Brake light!

My damn E-Brake like KEEPS coming on. It's been coming on every day/night for a full week. Any idea what the fuck it could indicate? It'll just come on at random times, or it'll stay on, even when I retract the E-Brake. WTF, mate? Any idears? I thought I read somewhere that it had something to do with ABS, but I could be wrong.

All Mine..........go under the hood, and check your brake fluid level! It is one of 2 issues.........either your brake fluid is low, or the level sensor on the dipstick is stuck. unscrew the cap and jiggle the lil' round sensor on the end of the dipstick....it solved my problem right away!

It's more than likely your brake fluid level is low.

If your fluid is low, You'll probably need to do some brakes soon.

That happen to my CL all the time and that indicates to me that I need my brakes changed.....but if that's not the case than it can probably be the brake fluid level sensor everyone is talking about.

the lil pedal to the right of your brake... press it and it will come up... and VIOLA the light disappears.... haha just fuckin with ya...

I think it might be the fluid...

if not its maybe electrical? but I haven't heard of our cars having electrical problems w/ the e-brake light

It's a sticky float IF your fluid isn't low. Open your brake cap, mess around with the float, and I bet it'll work for a few days, if not a few weeks. Eventually it'll get worse and you'll have to change it.
