Wow. I actually believed that for a second until I saw the blur in the left-most gauge. Nice photoshop work, man!

Edit: Oh yeah - and do we really have a washer light?

Canadian models have DRL's, a light that warns of a low washer fluid level (and usually they have larger fluid reservoirs as well) and different style parking brake indicators.

It looks real to me

Good point - as evidenced by the KM/H. Didn't notice that. 240 km/h is 149 mph.

Bummer that it only goes up that far.

You brave man to take picture at 149 mph.

Astro,

Do you still have the pic at that speed with the cruise control on? That one always make me laugh.

Guys, this is an old pic and very real as far as we could tell last year. BTW, what is -5 C?

Astro,

I dont think that everyone understands that this is in Kilometers per hour, and kilometers for the odomoter and also the temp is in Celcius. Minus 5 C is 23 F.

Still though, at 5 degrees below the temp that water freezes, this is some crazy shit to do man. Wasnt there ice all over the place?

That was my initial reaction when I slowed down on my bike. It was a two lane highway in Long Island that went on for miles. OBI right by Jones Beach. Believe it or not but there was a Audi TT that kept up till 150.

The speedo on our car is way rather optimistic. The speed limiter is set for 147 MPH.

I hate the speed limiter. Looks like BNUT has about another 1500rpms to go. Oh did, anybody use the SS in the Type S to get to their fastest speed. I find that the car shifts at redline anyway when in automatic mode.

I always use SS for my top speed runs and no the car does not shift automatically at redline when in 4th gear...you can bounce the car of the limiter in any gear and hold it there except for 1st...

Once I floor it, it goes right up to redline then shifts. This is in third though, didn't look down in fourth

Just because a car doesn't pull it's top gear to the redline doesn't mean it has a speed limiter. The faster you're going -- the faster the air is pushing back (i.e. aerodynamic drag). At some point all the available power is consumed just keeping the car at a constant speed so there's none left over for further acceleration.

Nah, I meant that the speedo on BNUT's post was limited, I had the same car and couldn't get it above the speed either with a host of other people.
