Sorry guys. I couldn't wait anymore, just like the motor mount thread. I went on excellerate's website and the price went down to $154 + shipping. Everywhere else I've been to is around $190 + shipping or MSRP. I went ahead clicked buy and should get it by Friday.

Although the GB didn't happen I still want to help out. So anyone who orders in the next week will get an extra $10 off the sale price on the website.

So how did you guys pop those pushbuttons off the cowl? I was thinking a small screwdriver, but since it's all plastic, I wasn't sure if it would crack from the pressure or anything.
Still waiting on a non-rainy day where I'm not busy, to finish the install

Yep. IMO, the best way to install it is to unbolt the passenger side strut, slightly lift the car, and slide the plate underneath the strut bar. Drop the car back down and torque everything. No need to unbolt the strut bar from the cowl or do anything like that.
Yeah I tried that and almost got my shit wrecked (posted about it on page 5).
So now I'm just trying to loosen the strut bar at the firewall. Need to know a good way of removing the cowl without damaging it. I'm just not sure how flimsy it is.

Well I don't think my messed up OEM jack is usable, so I might as well give the "jack up the side of the car" method another try since I'm gonna need to buy a set of jack stands.
No need to support the driver's side or anything when you're lifting the passenger side, right?

No reason to remove the cowl. There are 2 panels that pop out to get to the bolts for the strut tower. just push the tab and pop the cover off
I guess I'll have to take another look at my car.I guess I was wrong to call it a cowl...? It's the plastic piece that sits below the windshield wipers.
I'm not at all educated on cars (as I'm sure you all can tell
) so I guess that's why this is seemingly so complicated for me.
