It appears that the bracket will not fit on with my Neuspeed bar. I need to cut off the last part of the bracket because that plus the strut bar = no threads to bolt onto. Thats OEM top hats BTW.

Thoughts on cutting the bracket and using three mounting holes?

Just put mine on, couple of notes. One of the motor mount bolts felt like it was stripping on the way out and was very hard to turn. The new longer bolts that hold the bracket went right in however with no trouble. No need to support the engine from underneath. At the pass. side shock tower the end of the O.E. strut bar must be lifted up. I used a pry bar to do it, and I did loosen the two nuts under the small access door where the wipers are just in case. The plate they supply fits over the four studs, and I used a small hammer to coax it into place.
Otherwise was a easy job, will drive the car for impressions tomorrow.

Drove around a good bit today and I like the damper. Firms up shifting into gear and upon acceleration. Worth it in my mind just to save our troublesome motor mounts. I'm glad I did it, took my about 45 minutes.

Would you say it is worth it if you put down 240-250+ whp?

Installed mine over the weekend and drove it around. The first thing I noticed was the tires don't chirp punching 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Adds a nice solid feel to shifting.

No the holes where the bracket mounts to the top hat/strut brace, need the distance between them, a pic would help as well. I need to see if I can get them to line up with my 1G without having to drill new holes or fab a bracket

Measurements are in inches. Measurement is listed above the pictures.

2.947"

3.791"

.958"

1.691"

.983"

1.695"

3.006"

3.780"

1.659"

Hope that helps. BTW, the crossed out section is where I need to cut.

I know it would probably help to see it on the car. And dont mind the dog hair on the carpet.

Just got mine. I'm right in the middle of some major maintenance work on the car, so I'll be doing that as part of everything else. Should be a few days as I'm doing new brakes, struts, bushings, ball joints, timing belt and axles, hub & bearing (don't ask why on the last 2 )

i was thinking, what heeltoe made us one..., but then again you have the CL , without an available factory bodykit (and no bullshit of an available 6-speed, cause that swaps right into the TL)

[QUOTE=helpwanted;12218296]and took twenty minutes to install:QUOTE]

How come you arent using the cowl pieces for the ct strut bar? I am working on installing mine. The bolts from my coils stick up alot more than stock. it looks like i will have to completely remove the strut bar to get the brackets on. Hopefully this goes somewhat smooth.

or this is what i did personally, undo the strut top bolts, then jack up the car a little, so those studs drop down, then just slid the bracket underneth
