Engine Light

My Engine Light went on yesterday and didn't turn back off untill I was driving to work this morning. The manual says it is an Emission problem...and I did notice that the idle speed is very low. Think I may take it to the dealer

..and NO it is not the Maint. Required Light. It is the little engine light.

Ideas????

Even if you diconnect the battery It's not the maintanance light, so you should get the car checked out.

WOW Half Shafts aren't cheap...is that because of the added HP you have???

not sure....it's warranty work...it's really bad inner CV's but it turns out to be cheaper to replace the entire hafl shaft than do the work on just the CV...this could also be just a contamination problem steming from a replaced transmission

Understand..I am having them check my trans out again too. 2nd-3 rd shift is a little to mushy for my tastes (second Trans)...well good luck with all the work.

I just had the PCM installed on my CLS and the 2-3 shifts are definitely faster and less "mushy."
