that piece of plastic in the back correct? i have never seen one for this car. was that stock on the 1st gen?

i think its the 99-00 engine covers not sure.

Only engine covers are the stock ones for a CLS. You can paint them however to any color you want.

My guess is that you're talking about the silver part right? That's the intake manifold, something which a CL-S has a much, much better version of.

The part I was talking about was the cover over the strut brace, or any other cover. I know about the battery cover. The only pic I could find was of a 1G, so that is why I posted the pic.
