Well I not happy with mine. I installed mine today, & they don't stick to the plastic well. I never put anything with silicone on them, & I cleaned them with paint thinner before I installed them. Before I put them on I looked at the tape, & it doesn't look very sticky, & didn't feel very sticky either. I think it's a 3M? tape issue. The tape on the wood kits I used were alot stickier. Maybe it cheap tape?

Yeah but you had a set from the very first batch. Most of us have been waiting for 2 or more months for ours. With all the issues that created the wait, maybe the later ones are not made as good, as that first batch was.
Guys I think Austin519's gonna have trouble replying since I read over at the "other" forum that he got banned here. I'd just email him...which is what I had to do after he got banned at Acura-tl.
slyraskal actually I was concerned about the same thing...but Austin answered that Q many times. The sills have enough surface area to stick on fine...all the door sills have those grooves.
and JasonT from the fiasco at Acura-tl I actually found out it was the other way around. Snook (sp?) ordered a bunch of prototypes and sold those to the first group of people ordering. The prototypes weren't the right size, metal, color, etc but he wanted to get them out anyway. All the rest of the sills aside from that batch are the exact same.
