Does this trim look familiar?

Geez, buddha, you don't need to go off on this tangent. The simulated wood in the CL-S is really not that bad, albeit the "stain" is somewhat unusual. You really didn't get what I was trying to convey, which was simply that if one plugged similar items about the CL (or even other cars) into your message about the IS300 manual, one should be able to see that it's not a fair attempt information or discussion, but an inflammatory.
The Acura "plood" is not bad. There are certainly worse. Chrysler went as far as to mold raised letters on their "plood" in the Grand Cherokee, if I remember correctly. That's bad.

I think the bowling ball trim isn't bad....at least it goes with the car...real wood is cool, but you want Acura to raise the price by about 3K just for real wood..

Y'all need to stop b!tching about the fake-wood trim. If you wanted real wood you would've paid like $2-3k more. And value was a major concern for everyone who bought the CL-S. So the value would've taken a nose dive if they made real wood trim. So live with the fake wood trim, its there for a reason.

actually i wasn't *****ing about it. acutally girls seem to like the black fake wood. i guess i should have said that when i first got my car i had a hard time explaining to people what it was suppose to be. but now that there are more cars on the market besides higher end mb, it makes it a little easier.
webtoker,
it's zerin's s4. i had a chance to run with him last friday. that sh*t is quick mad off the line. i posted about it in the racing section. i'm all stock. waiting for more players to get into the aftermarket for the type s and drive prices down. plus i don't know how long i will keep. so no use throwing more money into the car. i think though that i might get some 18" heidfields w/ 235 40 18. been researching it a lot. don't want any rubbing problems. i have a cousin who wants to buy my rims for his tl so that should help the cost. rims along are 1850. what do you guys think is a fair price to sell the set for (type s rim that is).
