I don't have a spoiler for that reason alone but I want cleaner bass. The sub hits good but I feel that all the vibration is taken away from clean deep bass. I was looking to lining the entire trunk floor and possibly the trunk lid and rear deck and bottom of the back seat. When I added everything up its gonna cost $$$ but I want to know if its worth it...or is there a better brand.

Lou, with the amount of power you're running...I would recommend "FatMat" It's a fraction thinner than Dynamat, but half the price. A Dynamat trunk kit runs for $99 (36sq Ft) when a Fatmat kit runs for $49(36sq Ft) or you could get 100sq ft for $99.

yea 500 watts is not much but it still makes the car vibrate and I hate that shit. I like the sound but the whole every panel shaking is fawking WACK.

Price is a good reason but which is great cause this is gonna be a one time deal no do overs If u know what I mean

I bought the Dynamat kit before I knew FatMat existed. I put all 36sq Ft of Dynamat into my trunk, but I haven't put it to the test yet. I bought 36sq ft of FatMat to do parts of the interior and any other parts of the trunk that may vibrate after the system is in there.

Dynamat is thicker which helps reduce more vibration than FatMat, but twice the price. If you wanna be on the safe side...go with Dynamat. I think you can request a sample from both companies and then you can make a decision.

You don't need that much dynomat. You dont need to do the bottom of the seats, or the bottom of the trunk. It already comes from the factory like that. it has a thin mat as it is. i would do the trunk lid, the rear quaterpannels, the front doors, and back deck. the trunk lid, i didn't use a whole sheet. just in between the X.

Sounds to me that u need to dynamat the trunk. But 1st, what enclosure are u using? What is the cubic air space that the box holds. Also what is the range of the air space that the speakers run at.

My theory to this situation is if u have BUMP at 500W it sounds to me that u are using a sealed box. If that is the case 1st go with polyfill stuffing. Use like 2-3 punds of the stuff. That will make the box think that it is bigger and u will then get that HMMMMMMMM.

Get back with me on the specs of the box and the subs. And if u want go ahead and stuff the box. Pollyfill stuffing is CHEAP and u can get it at any crafts store.

I have a little basslink, & I tried to line the trunk lid, & didn't see any difference in sound, or spoiler rattle. All it did was make the lid heavy so it fell on my head when open.

the box is .88 which is the smallest box the Perfect can use. The box actually came with Polyfill but I noticed it took some of the bump away...I thought you wanted the bump...you DON'T want vibration of the whole car.

Thanks for the help.
