I don't see why it wouldn't. I highly doubt the navi discs are encrytped like DVD movies. I was hoping to try this once the new version comes out. I am getting a laptop that has a DVD burner on it.

I really need to try this out. I have a DVD Burner and the NAVI, but I haven't gotten to try it. *IF* the DVD-ROM that Acura uses is a singly layer disc (read: under 4.7GB), then it should be simple to copy. If it is a dual layer disc (read: 9GB disc), then it wouldn't be possible to copy this disc onto consumer level DVD Recordable discs.

The NAVI's DVD system would also need to be able to read one of the 4 DVD recordable formats (DVD-R,-RW,+R, or +RW).

Additionally, if you do not own the DVD disc that you're making a copy of, this is a copyright violation and is illegal! Doing so is at your own risk.

RITEK DVD-R 4.7GB

Used a DVD .ISO image application to extract and make the backup .ISO image. Then burned the .ISO image on a Pioneer A06.

I did this because my last DVD got scratched when I was futzing with it, I keep the original at home now...

Damn, how much does the actual disc cost?

When was it last updated? I got my car 11/28/2001.

Holy Bejeezus!

Anyone in Tampa have the disc? I have the burner

Haha, just kidding. Tampa's coverage is pretty decent for my needs.
