Question DIY Mods

I have an 01 CL Type S and was wondering if there were any DIY mods to the factory airbox. (I just spent $50 on a K&N and might as well keep t for awhile.) Thanks.

You can remove the factory resonator... Search on resonator for details..

Some people have gone the K&N drop in w/ removing the resonator instead of the icebox here.

icebox is not worth it, unless you have some headers (not alphawerks of course) to go with it

Well after doing a search Ive seen more Cons then Pros to removing the resonator. TOPHER, where would this hole you mentioned be drilled? I dont want to suck in hot air.
I plan on adding headers soon, any comments on Megan SS headers or TopSpeed Headers?

Don't learn the hard way. Get comptechs or don't get headers at all.
