No the TB does not get plugged off.

Just get a hose coupler and connect the two pieces of rubber hose that go into the TB.

Thanks,
does it need to be made out of plastic or metal to resist the heat?

I just completely removed on the rubber coolant hoses and looped the other one on the block. You can cap the TB ports if you want, but its not needed.

Thats what I just did.
Hmmmm, mod for no money, less than 5 minutes to look at it,get tools, and swap some tubes.
How could you go wrong.
The cars been running for about 10 minutes and the hose that I looped is blazing hot.
Definitly a must do.

Now it's time to go chew up some vettes with all that freed HP.

The little "kit" i bought came with caps for the TB, but I definitely don't see that you would need it. Enjoy

Since it's fresh in your mind, how about a DIY?

I tried to take some pics but it's too hard in the dark.
How you do it is look at the botom of the TB for 2 hoses, they are the same diameter.
The 1 that goes to the motor gets completely removed.
the other will come off the TB and will go to the motor where the other hose was.
and it's done.
I was out for a little bit and I can tell a differance.

Between the TB bypass and the breather it did clean up that area a little bit.

Next dose of parts is going to be for cooling.
2 p2r manifold gaskets
2 p2r TB gaskets
TB spacer
obx radiator hoses
80 degree fan switch
new anti freeze

I'm thinking these things will bring back some of the stolen summer hp.

just shopping for best prices
