dc sports headers

from what i searched, dc headers are NOT carb legal.... but some people say they are now? im from CA, and all that smog legal stuff isnt worth the trouble for me to change the headers back and forth...so if dc is carb legal, im thinking of getting them....i WOULD like ct engineering, but too much IMO for headers...

According to DCs website, they say they are 50 state legal.

ok, i called them up today, the HHC5528 is NOT carb legal...they said its pending still and to call back few months later..... i guess comptech/ct engineering is the only way to go... does anyone know if you can just get the carb legal sticker on it? or is it a welding? if anyone has pics of a set of dc headers with the welding on it, that would be great!

I believe it was the DC headers that they will send you a CARB sticker to put on them if you request it.

are u positive? i really want to get the dc headers, and im getting half/half response..some say they got "stickers" from dc directly.... but from what i read on their website, they require a photo of the headers installed on to your car...etc....seems like alot of work, and will they actually approve it?.... anyone have this experience?

someone on the forums told me they just talked to dc over emails and they sent him a carb sticker for his headers hhc5528

How about you call them and talk to them directly if you're so unsure? Better to get the info straight from them then from a bunch of people on some random car forum.

As for it sounding like a lot of work to take a picture and send it to them of the headers installed, first off I believe that was only for people that had the headers already installed on their cars when the sticker thing became an option and secondly, does that sound like the $800 difference in price between the DCs and the Comp headers?
