How did you stop the leak? New washers?

Yea, your rotors are most likely warped.

how much did it cost for the legend calipers? All there's to it is swap and go? Don't need new lines or anything?

Its a simple bolt on. You can even use your stock pads.

I bought my legend calipers from autozone. They were closr to 100 each plus taxes. Then you can return your stock calipers for the core fee and get 44 back per caliper. It ended up being 52 each plus the tax. If you dont do the core refund i think it comes out to about 205 with tax. I am waiting to get my second set of legend calipers plus my stock rears back from the powdercoater. I got all 4 plus the brackets powdercoated in semi-gloss(satin) black. It is gonna cost me 100-125 for that.

any special tools needed to do the swap? as in, what type of wrench do you use to remove the brake lines?

Use 10mm flare nut wrenches for brake lines.

RL calipers are the most popular. A couple of people have done nsx calipers too.

I would rather do the 2nd gen rl calibers in the front, to me that seems like it would make a big difference but I wish there was a option for the rear so it could match..

if you want a front plus rear bbk then get the rotoras. Not worth the money imo unless it is a show car. I am getting my legend fronts and stock rears powdercoated atm. That will be enough for me for now. In the future I wanna look into getting aluminum calipers and lightweight rotors because that weight is huge in rotational mass.

Just to let everyone know, later this summer I plan on doing something with the rear brakes, I hope to match them rather well with the RL front calipers. And of course, Im aiming for them to be cheaper then the Rotoras.

ok ppls i already did this mod like 2 yrs ago, it improved braking a lil but in my opinion not much it just reduces rotors warping .
But my question is this, when i did this i just painted it with sm brake caliper paint.

Is it too late to take them out again and powder coat the calipers ?
Whatz the turn around time b4 u get them back ?
ANd how much does it cost to powder coat 1 caliper on average ?

i am thinking maybe powder coating in blck is a lot cheaper bcos i fi was to go thru the rigor of powder coating anything i def want some color (e.g match body color) or red etc but defnatly not black.

I persoanally think black is for hiding smthng (like to make a modified engine look stock in appearance or smthng)

Painting something dsnt mean you cant get it powdercoated. I had my 4 calipers and 4 brackets, 8 pieces total, blasted and powdercoated in a single coat of satin black. Some colors require more coats and costs more. I was gonna do black or body color, but the powdercoater said they cant match body color with the powdercoat well. Since they are stock calipers black is the best option anyway imo. I understand bright colors on bbk calipers tho. I paid 150 total, so divide that by 8 and its 18.75 per piece. As far as turn around i would guess roughly 1 week depending on how urgent you are when talking to them and how much business they have.

it basically goes green, red, yellow. Green would be street use, red would be street/track and yellow would be track use basically.
