gawd........ average 50ft/lbs gain!!!!!!!!!

yes but the icebox is included and the exhaust is not significant. Headers are pricey but whatever with that much power who cares?

Glad to see it up online!
Now the question remains......................Who will be the first on here to get one?
I would be, if I had my car now......guess I will have to wait until December to get it
Anyone want a 1999 Civic Si with 42,000 miles, all Comptech parts, SSR Competitions, AEM Brakes, etc, etc, etc?:P
Dean
PS...The auto is coming in about a month. Right now, Comptech is not happy with the 275WHP they are getting and want more power.

It is good for u guys with CLS-6... I think Shawn S is itching to drop the ball and give a call to dean and be on the list for CT SC....
No camplaints for me other than I have the slush box....
Is this a possible solution to solve the traction problem??? Listen:
Get fender flares for the wheel molded on to the car ala audi TT so that way u can have even wider tires say 245?
I've seen other cars accomodate wider size tires then they can usually do via this method...plus it would give the car a "on steroids" look

So we are talking about 340 HP at the crank and 308 lb-ft at 5000rpm. For sure 13.4 with good street tires, like the S03s or Nittos. Maybe 13.2 in a cold day.
3rd to 4th shift
3rd to 4th on my 6-speed at 7200rpm is ~93mph. That last shift
into 4th really hurts the 1/4 mile time and trap speed. I think the
S/C (traction pending) will hurl the car into the 13.3 range quite
easily and may dip into the 12's with a few more mods, weight-reduction and slicks.
I think I am going to ask my friend to order the S/C. From what I heard... its in stock. Else it will have to be in December
I have been contemplating NOS, but having an empty bottle when some schmuck in the a modded new-Z pulls up against me would suck!
Considering the stock 6spd made 216 at the wheel (TOV site), that's a 16.923% drive-train loss. This means the 299 at the wheel number translates to ~360 crank hp.
The fact that the power-band is significant from 4K onwards... will translate to nearly 0.8s improvement in the 1/4-mile (traction pending, of course!)

with that much power nothing would grab. i have nitto 555 235/40/18 and i dont grab now. plus with the cold weather up here i've been chirping third like twice a day. I even got it to spin 3rd for half a second(i cheated it was cold and the ground had some moisture). What about the axels, do you think they'll hold up?
You guys should work with a shop and get a Custom Turbo Kit made. There are 2 kits that are available for the Maxima right now. The results are much greater than pullied Superchargers. Turbo is the way to go IMO. If someone got one made and posted the dyno results they would sell tons.
