You can build it without knowing the number of teeth on the crank trigger. The software is what will be dependant on knowing. The high speed counter is dumb and will work counting pulse but to determine what to do with these counts is in the software.
I'll also see what I can find out but for some reason I remember seeing 12x but I could be wrong. I'll dig on this when I get home.

The reason being that the Lexus crank has like 2 teeth missing and that their ECU knows this and overrides it....when the new ECU is hooked on....it sees it...doesnt know what it is...and stalls...

Im not looking for the CRANK TRIGGER.. I need to know HOw many Teeth are on the CRank for the trigger to pickup..

Anyway, people were refering to the crank trigger as the the CPK, or crank position sensors which is what reads the pulses from the gear teeth. Just trying to isolate the area...

It should say in the Helms manual how many teeth are on the crank .. where the Crank Trigger pics up..
