hmmm.....what ever happen to the Unorthodox 12V crank pulley? it seems that its not on the site anymore. Now they have the Ultra S Pulley type for $191 and the Ultra Sc Type for $245. What are the difference between the two? Does it really help the horse power gain? and will it work for the Supercharger application?

 

The old 12V pulley is now called the Ultra Sc. The difference between the Ultra S and Sc is that the Sc is the stock diameter size, where as the S is a bit smaller to underdrive. If you are going with the supercharger, you'll need the Sc.

For a auto novice, can you explain the pros and cons of the underdrive pulley and the regular size pulley?

 

I am going to order the pulley set from Unorthodox Racing for my 01 CLS. Can you advise the belts that I am going to need for the conversion. I will most likely go with Gates.
