Crank and crank no start wtf?

Got in, drove the car to mall, about a 2 min drive, went in, came out 10min later, and it wouldn't start. It cranked and cranked, nothing. tried it again, nothing. Tried a third time, fired right up...WTF? When I got home I shut it off, and started it a few times with no problem... Anyone ever have this problem? I'm going to do a full tune up this weekend... Any ideas greatly appreciated...

Sounds like the same thing that happened when my battery crapped out on me. Bet it's an Acura battery under the hood, isn't it?

I've had this problem too. It happened to me last summer. I snugged up the terminals and cleaned them as well. It just started happening again last week. My battery is not from Honda.

bad fuel? bad relay? bad battery connection like everyone else said...

I mean I was cranking my lawn mower yesterday for about 20 min before it started... But it has been sitting since October and not run since... Haha

DUDE, i've been having the same problem, i was guessing it was cuz of the cold weather...? My battery is fine, my friends told me it could be a starter going bad? my brother's civic SI used to do it and he found out it was his distributor box? i dunno... i crank it on my 3rd try and it fires up. its weird...
