Console Removal - 6mt

There is some great info on this board about getting to the stock head unit. As I'm looking to install an IceLink adaptor this weekend, I was wondering if there is anything I need to watch for that is specific to the 6MT (all of the step by step posts are autos).

Another difference I saw, was that in my 6M/T I did not have to remove the connection or whatever it was for the seated heats.

That's weird, I followed the step-by-step instructions that were posted here and when I got to the part of disconnecting the seats heater, mine weren't in the same location as the pictures in the DIY. I figure it was different in all the 6M/Ts.

This is the document I'm using - it's absolutely outstanding. There are a couple of differences between the auto and the 6MT - like the heated seat switches being at the back of the center console rather than the front. As someone pointed out, they will probably have to be disconnected before the center console is removed. Other obvious differences include the gearshift, and e-brake.

I'm hoping most of it will be intuitive; just wanted to make sure there wasn't something that wasn't evident ... the kind of thing that adds hours to a job when you are doing it for the first time.
