Concerns starting the car with lights on
last night, i started to toy with the auto-off feature (sorry, i'm so used to manually turning off that it's 2nd nature)...anyway, i open the doors, and the lights come on...when i go to start the car, my left headlight flashes on again while the right side stays fine...but the left light did the funky color change, like it turned that pink color then went back to the purple like u see in gyms with the huge overheads when u first turn them on, and they stay pink for a min before turning natural color b/c they need to warm up
so i'm concerned that when u disrupt that power flow to the lights, is there like a power surge that could blow the bulb??? and what about the road lamps???
i'm sure this has happened to at least some of u guys since u prob use the feature moreso than i do

I have left my lights on for the past year.
Every once in a while on bulb would shut off completely while the engine cranks over, but it's not a problem. Just turn them off and on and again and they recharge.

Scoot,
the slight flicker is a normal function of the relay switch that
is designed to X-fer all power to the starter. If you notice when you start the car all the dash lights and LCDs vanish for a sec.
this will not harm the lighting system system b/c there is no voltage/amp increase, it just thinks your turning it off and on again.
