Comptech sway bars

I originally was thinking of just the rear one but ended up with both. Should I install the front one as well?

Why wouldn't you install both?

You bought both but are unsure if you should install both now?

That doesn't make any sense.

seller did not want to separate. many said it's not necessary to install the front as the stock one does just fine. I was just thinking of selling it maybe and spend the cash on something else I do need. However if it makes a positive difference then I will consider putting it on. Makes sense?

Yeah I got you.

I bought the front strut bar because the seller wouldn't sell the rear to me.

Both Comptech strut bars are stiffer than stock.

You will feel the response from installing both.

the front comptech sway bar is supposed to be thicker inside than being hollow like the OEM sway bar.

did you feel much difference in handling? I am looking primarily to decrease understeer and body roll.

Any front wheel drive car will benefit from upgraded front end suspension upgrades.

All your weight on the CL is in the front.

I have the front sway bar uninstalled at this point because I am awaiting my upgraded bushings.

ya but on a fwd you benefit more from a rear sway being extremely stiff

but I also changed my front sway with the neuspeed, the was the thickest on the market

Depends what you feel and want when you are driving. Does the rear of your car come around well during a turn or does your car tend to understeer like 99.999% of our Cls do? Adding a thicker/stiffer front sway bar will make the car understeer more and a thicker/stiffer rear sway will make make it understeer less. In my set up even w/ a Progress 24mm adjustable bar and polyurethane bushings set on stiffest setting the car still understeers when powering into a turn. So far no nasty (sudden/difficult to control) lift-throttle oversteer in a corner.
Saying that, I did replace the stock rubber bushings w/ prothane or suspension techniques? polyurethane bushings and turn in felt a slight bit better.
To save some money and maximize your handling just put the rear Comptech in and return the front. Also rear install is easier DIY than front.
To further complicate things, my first sway mod was to put urethane bushings on the stock 19mm? bar before I went with the Comptech 22mm bar and I was a bit disappointed as the first setup felt like the rear came around better. It seems like the Comptech replaced their urethane bushings w/ rubber ones on present models due to complaints of noise. That is when I changed to the Progress bar. I wonder if their are urethane replacement bushings for the Comptech bar?

What about these bushings?

These are what I'm getting.
