Comptech spring install

I just called DB Motorsports in Diamond Bar, CA and was quoted:

$299 - Comptech Springs
$75 - install
$64 - 4 wheel alignment
w/ a possible reduction in total cost

Are these fair prices, or will I be getting raped? Also, is DB Motorsports a respectable place to get my work done at? Mostly for the SoCal guys. Thanks in advance!

I paid less than that for springs and 0 install. I dont understand why people dont install these themselves, so easy.

75 bucks is a GREAT price to install springs.
Most places want 200+

Yea right.
Like everyone has access to a lift and a spring compressor.

I say that's a very good price. I've hear of over $200 for install too. Even the alignment is a fair price. I think I paid $70 at Acura. Make sure they give you a print out of the readings.

If you're not technically inclined or have the patience, I wouldn't do it yourself.

That is an excellent price. Make sure that he didn't mean $75 a spring or something since $75 seems too cheap to me. Good luck! You'll love the springs! I would never go back to looking like a 4x4 now that I have the CT springs.

Yeah, make sure it isn't $75 per corner...that would be like a $300 install! I wonder if the install price would be the same if you bought your parts elsewhere...like from Dean or something.

From the website http://www.dbmotorsports.com/dbhonda.htm
Diamond Bar Motorsports is a division of Diamond Bar Honda. We are located at the 60 fwy exit off Grand Ave in Diamond Bar.

I'll let you know when I get it done...probably this Saturday, but I gotta make sure bout that install price first.

some advice for u....think twice b4 going there....that is the exact place i went to get my Ct installed and i paid the same price....Their customer service sucks...when i pulled up into their little garage driveway thing, several times, the guy who stands at the podium just ignored me...they are impatient...and the worst thing was that the guy who installed it made the passengers side higher, instead of the driver's side....i went back to tell him cause the difference in height was obvious, and he tried to explain to me that it hasnt settled yet and CT springs are all equally rated...which or course is NOT true, according to CT..(driver side has higher rate)..thus, 2 months later, i dumped the Cts and got coilovers...that way i could adjust the height myself.....IF I WERE U, I WOULD NOT GO BACK THERE FOR INSTALL...EITHER DO IT URSELF, or GO TO SP in city of industry.....

damn... it's a good thing i checked the board before leaving. i was about to go there in about 15 min. thanks for the advise man. i could tell just by talking to them on the phone and getting transferred 6 times that their customer may be shady. thats the reason i posted this thread in the first place.

so... how much do they charge at the shop you are talkin' about? do they deal comptech parts, or would i have to bring my own there? also, what did you do with your old comptech springs? was the height in the front fuct from the install or the springs themselves? i know shit load of questions... my bad.
