Well, my accident was not as horrific as some of the other members here...but, I'm so pissed because in my case, it was hit and run.

Trying to make a left turn down the hill on the way home today and I see these two bikers on their sport bikes blasting up the hill...I'm thinking, lots of distance, lots of time. Well, apparently, these guys didn't slow down. They got fancy and tried to veer around me. Didn't quite work. I hear a loud thud on my car and I know f*cktard biker didn't exactly avoid me. He hit my car hard. First thought is "Oh shit...I hope whoever hit me is alright." I immediately look back and see that there is no wreckage and that the bikers are continuing up the hill...I stop my car, and get out and then see the gift the moron left me: the rear bumper (Versus kit included) driver side has paint gone everywhere...two of the areas are at least 30cm long.

So, yup...now I've gotta repaint the bumper, the kit, plus labour...

But, as I was turning left and they were going in the opposite direction on motorcycles, it was near impossible...

wait.. youre calling them morons but arent you the one that turned in front of them??? apparently with not even enough time to leave a safe distance.. youre damn lucky that they didnt get hurt and you just left with a screwed up bumper and not a dead guy stuck to it..

Sorry to tell ya that you have no reason to be complaining about those bikers. Well, at least you were lucky enough that you didn't kill anybody.

Okay, I'm in Canada, so, bear with the metric system...but, that area was a 40km/h zone...that's SLOW.

There was TONS of distance between me and the bikers...They were flying up the hill...

who cares how fast they were going. you should have took their speed into consideration and not have made the turn, or went faster.

i say you should be happy they took off.

Probably but it's tough to judge a speeder. Vehicles that speed MUST share the blame and if you speed, you have to understand that it will be nearly impossible for some drivers to properly ascertain your velocity (closing speeding and disance and direction).
