Thumbs up CL / TL REAL OBX headers for CHEAP on ebay.

hey guys I just bought the ceramic one off ebay. and there are also stainless steel ones.

I know how much comptechs are and ho much OBXs are usually (5-600 USD) BUT this guy on ebay is selling them for WAY less and they are LEGIT.

Just go to ebay, type in " TL headers" and voila!! they should be listed at the top

I figure why got all out for 3-4xs the price on comptechs when for 300 you can get a fairly reputable brand of headers that frankly will give you 95% of the same gains.

No brainer for me.

We'll see about the install.

Just letting you HP junkies know, they are a pretty good deal all in all

I was actully looking at them yesterday the ceramic ones look fake they look exactly like the ones that are being sold for $45. The chrome ones are real they are stamped OBX where the ceramic ones have no stamps on them. Im guessing the ceramic ones are the same as those $45 headers and the chrome ones are real!

What I don't understand is why it is sent in a obx box with obx papers and an obx lifetime warranty if it is fake. What I also don't get is why they dont sell ceramic headers on the obx website only polished.

You can put ANYTHING in ANY box. I dont think OBX makes ceramic headers, I could be wrong. He could have bought REAL obx headers , installed it on his car and then bought cheap $45 headers on E-bay and put it in the box with his warrenty and instruction paperwork. In these economic times people are willing to do ANYTHING to make a extra buck!

I would not buy any headers UNLESS OBX was welded on it like in the last pic..People can even weld the OBX plate on any headers if they wanted to take it that far!

also, obx ceramic headers do not have a stamp on it. (Ceramic only) If you call them they will tell you that on their past ceramic products the opted not to do so. These ones were made in 2005.. so they are older.. and apply to that.

New ones all come stamped cause of ppl that run into fake all the time.

So with any luck i didnt get ripped after all.

Just be careful when buying ANYTHING on the internet , there are alot of shady people out there tring to make a quick buck. Let me know how the headers work out I am really wanting to get some headers for my car but dont want to spend over $200 shipped at the most. I wish XS still was making headers for our cars I would be all over it~!

When are u putting them on your car?

Well I just took a crap on him cause of the doubts I had. :-s and to my surprise everything seems to be legit, he's a licensed OBX dealership too, and obx headers are practically all he sells on ebay, and has over 31000 transactions with over a 99% + feedback..

I will definately let you all know how things turn out.
