Cl-S or S2000

I wish I had a S2000 rather that my car. Granted it is smaller but with the Comptech SC it would have 340hp and can outhandle our car without a doubt. I love my Cl-s but as far as a true sports car (handling, power) an S2000 would be hard to beat. They offer so many more parts for them too.

The new G35 will be hot! If you like the coupe, get the new Nissan 350Z!

S2000 is a very nice summer weekends getaway...

It is more like a 2 seat Honda bike than a car.... You can barely fit in that S2000. Leave your bags at home,

But in anyways you can have a FREE hair drying job too

It's just you and your wallet. Don't plan on packing much else. Hey....I pondered an S2000 when I mad emy purchase and beign only 24....I figured.....NOT PRACTICAL at all. I'm sure it's a great car to drive, but you must remember to weigh the cons with the pros. For me...the Pros outweighed the cons for my CLS.

Now in 20 years....you'll definately find me in a tiny sports coupe like the aformentioned. Can't wait to rely on the "mid-life crisis" excuse to drive cars like that.

Had a stook for 3 months. It was fun for about 1 week. Then it was cramped, noisy, bad radio, no luggage space--did get the most compliments in the stook and kid love them. Engine wailed but cls is almost as fast and has more usable power. Worst feature--heat enters the passenger compartment from the engine. Passengers have their feet fried and honda said it was within specifications.

I have debated this since I live in the South and like a rag top. I have also looked at the 350z. But I hate the fact that my golf clubs would have to ride shotgun with me in a s2000 or 350z.

Gotta go with the CL-S 6-speed

JMHO....but I think the Beemer Hatchback is putrid.

But then again I have never liked Mercedes so it is probably just me. I like sports cars too much with a touch of luxury.

Definitely, I know it is a love/hate feeling but I fall into the love side. If my wife could at least agree to it I might be driving one.

Unless you have kids and this is your only car, S2000 can be a daily driver if you live in the California. How often do you need that much storage space? I don't. Even when I go grocery shopping, I can put a cart load of grocery in my trunk. I would say if you are not planning to have kids any time soon, go for it. You can always get a CL-S (I mean automatic) in the future.

Just wait for the lancer evo VII to hit the state. I read it will have like 276 hp and pull a 12.9, that is a real car if (I ever saw one). The best part, supposed to be like 26k and it look s good as hell.

The S2000 is a great car, but keep in mind, that its only a 4 cylinder.

A 4-cylinder that has to redline @9K to achieve full potential.

Its a COMPLETELY different car from ours.

Its an automotive marvel, and a great 2 seater, but its not a Sports Coupe.

Its a comparison of apples to oranges.

Re: M coupe

Ya I like both the coupe and the roaster! But I want a convertible next....

nice thing about the coupe is you dont see very many of them, so people think its wierd. But most like it when they look at it later...
must be like the blue plood in our cars... guess it grows on ya.

315hp under the hood! (330 if you update the exhaust...)

How did people achieve the quickest 0- 60 mph or 1/4 mile time with a CL-S? By shifting at 5K RPM? 6K RPM? Haha, I don't think so.

The greatest feature about an S2000 is not its acceleration. It is the great handling around the corners and twisties. If you only care about straight line performance, you can get a Mustang GT. Yeah, 8 cyclinders (the more the better ) and you save a few grand.
