cl-s 6MT headers

Im sure this has been brought up before but I am new to the forum and could not find anything about it... I saw a thread about the xs headers sold by ssautochrome and from the reviews I am very worried about ordering anything from them. But from what I can tell this is about my only option on finding headers for our cars, unless i get really really lucky and find some used comptech headers. Does ANYONE out there know of any other brands that sell headers for our cars?????

I ran them on my old CL. Think I replaced the flex pipe, no other problems.

Just as added measure you should get the welds reinforce before installing the xs headers.

Why? Mine have been on for over 200k miles and the only thing i have replaced is the flex pipe.

That said, DONT get them if the ones you are looking at have 2 flex pipes.

Your other option is to get the DC sports and grind down the rear motor mount enough that they clear.

Same here, had them on for 55K miles & just broke the flex pipe. Got a new one welded in. They were the original XS ones though. Before they went through different made batches.

what other site are you talking about?
BTW thanks everyone for the input. If i can't get any used comptech headers ill go ahead and get these. Probably have the flex pipe reinforced to.

Just wondering does anyone know exactly how bigger the XS headers are than stock, in diameter?
