I have rust on my rotors (like most of you), Anyone do anything to get rid of it? I saw something on TV called POR15 (paint over rust) but i dont think its for rotors.. I dont know if you can see the rust in these pics.

 

I should be more concerned with the rim wrecking........
The rotor hub can be painted with normal car paint or the high temp resistant paint, no problem.

 

That rim is going away (as soon a my new one comes in).

 

yup, my friend painted his rotor hubs on his talon, they look great, just tape off the rotor when you do it so you dont get paint on it.

 

POR 15 is excellent stuff. It's basically a high heat paint. I painted my calipers and outside lip of my rotors with it. There's a good pic in my signature.

yes it is brush on. I am using it on ALOT of things in my 68 GTO alot of rust to take care of. works great though. whatever you put it on will NEVER ever rust again.
