I'd be interested if it is A) real CF and B) has the sensor hole moved back for those of use with P2R spacers. Anyways, I added my name.

I posted in that thread that they could even make a bump in the cover instead of the cutout. I think it would actually look better that way instead of showing off the sensor. Just make the bump long enough to clear both the stock sensor location as well as the P2R location.

I like it! What kind of interest is there? I make that kind of thing. I have a shop that makes composite ( fiberglass, carbon fiber) airplane parts. I also make dashboards for Toyota Supras. With the right interest and a good set of molds, I can make that stuff real inexpensive for A'zine members.

Just wanted to give an update. At this time we are waiting to hear back from the fabricator about this project. He has been tied up with other projects. I will post updates as I am aware of them.

I've been MIA on this thread. I couldn't find it. Just learned how to do a search. I guess I need to get my message thing working, too. Been on this board a while, but I haven't learned to work all of the functions.

Let me do some research on price and get back to you all. Carbon fiber prices have gone through the roof since Boeing started building the 787. It's hard to get in large quantities, too.
