car died on me
What could the problem be? It's only every once in a while that when idling or in gear at a stop it will stumble and drop rpms <500. It has always come back up, but tonight it died in the driveway when I put it in park. All I had on the A/C & the Xenon's. Could it be the battery or the alternator or maybe something else?

If it wasn't the battery, then you may have a defective alternator. This could be caused by the pulleys, or just a bad apple out of the bunch. Get it towed to the dealership ASAP...A $30K car shouldn't die like that...Especially a 2001.

it happened on my last car like that. i had a civic with cai and somehow the idle "changed" and wouldn't be able to keep up with the car when it was at idle. i reset it to the factory idle rpm and that fixed it.
