Can the 2001-2003 CL Type S have a DOHC?

Well ive been thinking and im sure there is someone who can help me out. I know that almost all honda motors are interchangable. Im curious to know if you can bolt on a cylinder head on the 3.2L motor that has two cams instead of one.

Thats a lot of work...the NSX is a DOHC V6...

I'm sure you know the deal...Our J series is SOHC.

It would be a waste of money to convert to a DOHC.

Why? The J series engine is more then adequate. What purpose would there be? When it comes to V6 Honda engines they are not nearly as interchangeable as 4 bangers.

Yeah, I agree with all of the above. It would be a huge waste of time, effort, and money.

Obviously he is looking for horsepower gains. Better to go with the standard headers, CAI and pulleys. That will give you around 300HP at the crank on the Type-S motor for pennys on the dollar compared to a swap to a four cam engine IMO.

at least a 3.5 is a feasible modification
