brake problem?

i recently installed new pads and rotors on my cl-s but had a little problem which caused me some concern..

when i used a clamp to press down on my caliper to make more room for the newer thicker brake pads a slight bit of fluid came out.. my brakes seem to work fine though.. should i be concerned about the little bit of brownish fluid that came out?

also my brake pads were worn very unevenly.. the left rear inside pad was about 25% there where as the outside was completely gone.. and both pads on the right side were down maybe 50% and had a lot more left than the other side..

yeah, you should be concerned with fluid coming out. Did you bleed your lines and check them to see if there are any leaks. Stopping a 3000+ pound car is not cute when you have no line pressure in your braking system.

Where did the fluid come out? The lines? or the master cylinder?

If the fluid came out of the caliper in the area where the piston is it might be a cause for concern as the seal there may be faulty .It would be highly advised to have a pro look this over as you may suddenly lose brake effectiveness due to fluid leakage .
